Scottish “Brown" Sheepskin Rug

Natural shaped brown sheepskin rug tanned with tree bark in our Skye tannery. It takes around three weeks to handcraft a sheepskin in our traditional setting. Typically these brownsheepskins come local breeds such as Brown Cheviots that can be found throughout the Islands and Highlands of Scotland. Each brown sheepskin is unique with tones varying from milk chocolate to darker chocolate brown. They measure on average 35 x 25 inches at the widest point. A comfortable and beautiful-looking rug that will also last a lifetime. Machine and hand washable. Brush to maintain.
